Tunbridge Wells & Southborough

Royal Tunbridge Wells is a charming and historic market town in West Kent and on the borders of East Sussex. This countryside town is ever popular for its unspoilt beauty whilst being around 50 minutes from London by either train or car. Down by the mainline railway station is the famous Pantiles which offers a wonderful range of quirky cafes, pubs, craft shops and restaurants. Trips to the coast are also about 50 minutes away where you can find Hastings, Rye and Camber Sands. Tunbridge Wells continues to be very desirable for families looking to move away from busy London and move to a more tranquil and safe way of living for them and their children. This is not only because of the easy commute to London, but also because of the fantastic range of excellent state and grammar schools for children of all age groups including The Skinners School, Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School and Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys. Great shopping can be enjoyed in the High Street, Royal Victoria Place shopping centre and North Farm. Dunorlan Park is a beautiful place to visit with its scenic walks and pretty lake, and there are various sports centres and football and rugby clubs.

Southborough is a popular and historic town that separates Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. Famous for its stunning cricket pitches and cricket club, which have staged matches for over 100 years. High Brooms railway station is nearby, as is the A21/M25, making access to London easy and within around 48 minutes. North Farm shopping centre is a stone’s throw away in addition to the good range of shops and pubs on London Road, as are many excellent state and grammar schools for boys and girls.
